The Troll Peninsula of Iceland is a world class destination for ski touring and backcountry skiing, with vertical descents of up to 1400m or almost 5000ft, hundreds of peaks and slopes for all abilities. The season lasts from the beginning of February until the end of May, and with the continual daylight of the Arctic Sun overhead and mild temperatures, snow conditions remain favorable with great corn skiing and the occasional powder dump well into May and early June. The fact that the Troll Peninsula is surrounded by the Arctic Ocean makes for incredible opportunities of skiing right down to the ocean on a stable coastal snowpack but also adds the excitement of Arctic weather and conditions. If you are a group of experienced backcountry skiers or a visiting guide with your own group looking for accommodation in the area then let us help you out. We offer accommodation packages which include exclusive use of the lodge, a private chef, full board and housekeeping services. Nothing beats coming "home" from a day in the mountains to an apres ski snack and drink followed by soak in the hot tub or relaxing in the sauna and then finishing the evening off with a mouth watering 2 course meal prepared by your own private chef.
